About Meridia
Meridia, a prescription medication that's used along with a reduced-calorie diet to help people lose weight and keep it off, works by acting on the appetite control centers in the brain to suppress appetite and prevent overeating. Studies have shown that using MERIDIA along with a reduced-calorie diet and exercise program, helps obese patients lose weight and maintain that weight loss for 2 years or longer.
Being overweight can have serious effects on your health. This is especially true if you're at risk for diseases like diabetes and hypertension. But losing even a little weight can make a huge difference. Meridia can help make the task of losing weight easier, without hunger, or feeling deprived.
How to take Meridia
Meridia can be taken with or without food. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Meridia Side Effects
The most common side effects include headache, dry mouth, anorexia, constipation, and insomnia.
